54K (Mothers Day) 

We were approached by Creative agency Mother London to collaborate with them for a Mothers day installation for the charity Maternity Action. Maternity action found that 54,000 women are unfairly forced to leave their jobs due to pregnancy and maternity discrimination in the UK every year. This has a huge impact on their and their families’ health, well-being and financial future. Mother wanted to highlight this so we used 54,000 white carnations, the original mothers day flower and made a huge structure outside the city hall in London below tower bridge. One flower for every woman treated unfairly at work during her pregnancy. The next day bunches of the carnations were sent to MP’s at the Westminster with information on the campaign and calling for action.
